Kind Bag: They bottled it in a good way

Take a look at these great bags made from recycled plastic bottles. So practical and stylish, a great option if you’re looking for a replacement bag. Don’t forget the best bag you have is the one you already own.

We have two bags to talk about in this blog: the beautiful yellow backpack which I am in love with, and the incredible scarf bag… I mean it has so many functions!

Backpack:

This bag is just wonderful, the colour makes you smile… it comes in more options, but the yellow pops for me. It has really clever pockets for all sorts of items, including a nifty side zip to a hidden pocket. Whilst the other side zip goes into the main compartment of the bag.

I love the details of the straps and buckles with the magnets in the top handle and the fold to make it look tidy and easy to carry. My only criticism is it is slightly small. The pouch inside for laptops/tablets does not fit my Ipad (12.9” screen), but would fit smaller options. The side pockets for bottles are a bit too small when the bag is full. If this was scaled up by maybe 20% it would be the perfect choice for many occasions when city travelling.

All in all, I would highly recommend this as a great day trip bag, I use it nearly daily when travelling to take all I need for the day. I just drop my iPad in loose and get on with exploring.

Scarf Bag:

Versatile, stylish and practical. Big thumbs up from Evie. The scarf bag is made up of a beautifully designed scarf (well guessed) and two big bangles in the same design, which become the handles of the bag when tied around the scarf. The scarf bag, like the back pack, is made from 100% recycled bottles and feels like silk. It’s a great purchase and piece to invest in as it can be used as: a bag, a scarf, a top, a headband… it’s a very reasonably priced item for the versatility, quality and unique pattern. When we opened the package, both bags were wrapped in tissue paper and the scarf bag even came with a handle booklet of tips and tricks for ways to style it. Also makes a great gift!

Final thoughts:

This company is doing it! They are making great quality products, recycling in the process and proving that sustainable choices don’t have to compromise quality or style.

Since we received these kind gifts to review, Kind bag have made a larger version of the back pack and added more colours and designs to their range. The word is spreading about the company and product, which is brilliant. Evie even bought one of the scarf bags for a friend’s birthday and it went down a storm.

I’m still obsessed with my yellow backpack, it’s definitely bringing sunshine to the greyer days as we head towards winter in Sweden!
