Sunday, a day of rest for most right!

Well for me it was a 6:30 am start to meet my volleyball team to drive over an hour a way to play two matches before meandering back later.

This was my first match of the year which is really good fun, as I haven’t played a competitive match for a long time.

The matches did not quite got to plan we had some periods of amazing play, but seemed to drop our heads for long periods allowing either for the other team to get a large lead, or close back a gap we work hard to open up.

Still all in all, it is a fun game to play, and it was an opportunity to get to know my team mates a bit more than just the training sessions.

After volley, I was due to play beach volleyball. So a day in which I was not going to rest. This was good fun as Joe and Andy are really good, so for me a chance to improve and learn.

That was it really my Sunday of volleyball and hopefully my knees survive!
