Good morning, good afternoon, good evening! Wherever, whenever you’re reading this, I really appreciate the support.

Today there have been a couple of highlights, the main one was waking up next to Evie for the first time in a month, for those who have someone special in their lives there is nothing better than sharing your first conversation with that person.

So to bring you up to speed we are in Barcelona this morning, nothing planned except a drive to Costa Brava in the afternoon. What do you think I did first?…

That’s right, I booked us on a walking tour!!!

It was hosted by this incredibly charismatic and humorous man who was half-Greek half-Spanish and not originally from Barcelona, but he kept calling it the coolest city in the world!

Side note he went to Warwick uni and knew a fair bit about Leamington Spa, which shows how small the world is.

After our introductions, we had been pointed out this amazing piece of art from Picasso, which was for years thought to be by a Norwegian artist during the time of Franco.

One of the stops on the tour was described as the “insta” spot. An array of pictures combining to show these two people kissing. This type of art work for me is so incredibly intelligent, I have nothing but respect for the minds that can conjure up such beauty.

There are a lot more interesting stops on the walking tour, but I suggest and highly recommend going on the one we did, which was run by Donkey tours.

Anyway after a relatively short drive, but a stressful one leaving the city, we are now in our hotel and about to toast an amazing couple who’re getting married this weekend.
