Happy Saturday!!!!

It is a beautiful day, one where you just want to explore and be outside, but make sure you’re hydrated in the heat. It is never nice getting heat stroke.

Yesterday I got to see Evie again after over a week, and a lot of travelling for both of us. It was this moment when I saw her again I felt complete. We both know it will be hard to be apart a lot of this year, but these moments of reunion are so special.

She got the train to Liverpool Lime street where I picked her up and pointed out a lot of the beautiful buildings on the way up to Formby.

After arriving we went for some dinner with my parents to celebrate my belated birthday where my dad and I managed to log some more beers on Untapped, including a great Liverpool IPA. I don’t have any images of the food or venue but it is a place called the Sparrowhawk just outside of Formby, and if you’re ever able to go I would recommend you do so.

In the evening it was deemed cool enough to take the dog Woody (yes named after Toy Story, he’s that cool) for a walk to the beach. A wonderful 6km walk enjoying the sunset and some time together after a while away.
