Hej hej from Norway!
We’ve been here over 24 hours already and it was been a blast… and expensive one but a blast nonetheless.
This morning Evie and I decided to listen to our bodies and actually sleep a healthy amount without rushing around madly then crashing on Sunday night. My god what a great decision it was to do that.
After our breakfast we walked around a lot of the city, stopping off at some interesting landmarks, like the palace and the national theatre, before heading towards to water front.
Once here, we took the opportunity to mellow out with some drinks and listening to some serious chill hop at the harbour… I could have spent the afternoon there.
Following this was a very long and chilli walk around to the Opera house, with stops along the way to check out the saunas, and some small cafe’s. Once at the opera house we did as the Norwegians did, and ascended to the top. Which did not disappoint.
Now time for a drink, and to check out the Munch gallery, it’ll leave you screaming. This place is so cool tho, it has a rooftop restaurant and bar. Which is really cosy. Well worth a visit if you come to Oslo.
Finally onto dinner, we took refuge in the street food market. Amazing choice, there is so many options and vendors. We stuck with some veggie burgers and vegan dumplings which hit the nail on the head, before heading for some Crepe dessert :P.
Now it is time to sleep off the food baby… see you all tomorrow!
