Happy Sunday all,

It has been a wonderful day today, including a proper road trip, some volleyball, and some scooting. The dream!!

But first, some more details about the road trip…

The drive was only short; about 1 hour from where I live, but in the Polestar 2 it was fun and comfotable. The destination was Marstrands, an island just north of the city on the west coast.

Once parked up, we stopped in a hotel to try and grab a coffee, there was no sign of them being open for walk ins and the breakfast was being cleared up, but the incredibly kind staff let us use the machine and plan what we would do here. They even gave us some pastries left over from breakfast… people here are so kind, and hate waste :P.

To get across to the island we had to take a ferry over to go explore some more. The village is beautiful. You’re able to walk around the whole island, it is approximately 5km with some detours to walk to the lighthouse. Plus you’re able to stop and relax all around the walk, if you have the time it is possible to swim. Something I’ll be planning to do next time I come.

After the incredible day out, I went to beach volleyball training again, I had so much fun as always. The people I am playing with are really sociable, making it all the more enjoyable.
